Another quick update

Well, my time in Texas has been good so far. Speaking at The Point went really well, which was definitely by God’s grace. There are also several people who are interested in getting together with me, which is awesome. God is good.

Greetings from Texas

Just a quick note to let you all know I made it safely to Texas. It was a really great trip, with a few visits with friends and relatives on the way down. And, praise God, the weather was incredible! It was almost 80 yesterday! The above photo was taken in Oklahoma just before the Texas border. Let’s just say, it was a nice surprise after highs in the teens and inches of snow coming back in Wisconsin.

Tomorrow night I’m speaking at The Point. I’m excited (and, I’m not going to lie, more than a little bit nervous). So, please continue to pray that goes well and that God will use my words to challenge people to become more involved in what He is doing around the world.

Also, I’m still working on setting up meetings to share with individuals about my ministry with the US Center. So, continue to pray that God will put me in touch with the right people.

Texas

So, on Thursday I’m leaving again for another trip, this time to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas! I’m speaking at The Point, a young adult ministry of Irving Bible Church, this Sunday (Jan 11th) about “Purpose and Passion” (at least, that’s what I’m tentatively calling what I’m talking about… There’s a good chance that might change by Sunday. :)).

There’s a few ways you can help out with this trip.

First of all, pray:
-Pray that God will give me the words and ability to communicate with the young adults at The Point in a way that will resonate with them and challenge them to get involved in what God is doing around the world.
-For safe travels and good weather on my drive there
-While I’m in Texas, I am also seeking to meet with individuals to share about my ministry with the US Center and how they can be a part of my support team. Please pray that God will bring people for me to meet with.

Secondly, you can help if you live in Texas:
-I would love to meet with you! I’m going to be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area starting January 11, and I plan to be in the area at least a week and a half.
